CNN’s Brooke Baldwin Tries To Defend Leftist Mob

Americans who are still in touch with their sanity know that surrounding a man and his wife while they are trying to eat dinner and chasing them out of a restaurant is not acceptable social behavior. Then there are those who suffer from leftist insanity. A mob of leftist who should be locked up in the mental hospital more than they should be allowed in the general public surrounded Senator Ted Cruz and his wife while they were trying to eat dinner. The situation escalated to the point that the Senator and his wife were chased out of the restaurant that they were trying to enjoy their meal at. Time and again members of the mainstream media have found ways to rationalize this kind of behavior and tell their viewers that the insanity that can be found in the behavior of leftist is acceptable. What the mainstream media does not find acceptable is when leftist and their supporters are called exactly what they are, a mob.

There was a recent segment on CNN that saw CNN personality Brooke Baldwin interview columnist Matt Lewis. During the interview it was stated that after the recent battle to confirm Justice Brett Kavanaugh to the United States Supreme Court and everything that went with it, Republican voters are energized and ready to go into the mid-term elections next month. Matt Lewis started to say, “I believe it’s the overreaction of the Left. When you see people like Sen. Ted Cruz [R-Texas] getting chased out of restaurants by a mob —”

In a clear example that mainstream media does not know how to remain impartial and supports the leftist Brooke Baldwin interrupted Lewis before he could finish his statement. She said, “Oh, you’re not going to use the ‘mob’ word here.”

Matt Lewis did what any man who has a sense of self respect and backbone would do and refused to let himself by silenced by a woman. He continued his statement when he said, “Oh, it’s totally a mob. It is without a doubt. There’s no other word for it.”

The mob that Matt Lewis made a reference to were the out of control leftist that made up the group called Smash Racism DC. It is this group that surrounded Senator Ted Cruz and his wife at an Italian restaurant called Fiola, while they were trying to eat dinner. Most people would see the behavior of the members that chased Cruz and his wife out of the restaurant as something that was offensive and should be condemned. However, CNN made no attempt to even pretend that they were trying to call things right down the middle. Instead of even pretending to call things down the middle CNN personality Brooke Baldwin condemned Matt Lewis and said that it was offensive to leftist to call them a mob. She claimed that such characterizations are “part of the weaponization of what’s happening now on the Right” after Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed to the Supreme Court.

She quickly told Matt Lewis, “Stop, stop. A mob is what we saw in Charlottesville, Virginia, two Augusts ago. That is not what we saw chasing … I’m not saying what they did was right.”

Matt Lewis was at least willing to be fair in how he presented things and agreed that what happened in Charlottesville could be described as a mob. Then he stayed with Kavanaugh as the topic of the discussion when he asked, “What about the people at the Supreme Court banging on the walls? What do you call that? Civil protest? Or is that a mob? I think it’s easily a mob.”

When Brooke Baldwin realized that she was not going to win the argument she placed her face in her hands and shook her head. To make Baldwin’s night and things even worse for CNN who were desperate to defend the leftist mob Matt Lewis was backed by a regular contributor to CNN, Mary Katherine Ham. She said, “yeah, and if it were Tea Partiers, we’d call it a mob, for sure. Come on. Let’s be serious.”
