The hits keep coming for Judge Brett Kavanaugh and it may get even harder for him as time goes on. It has been less than twenty four hours since a second accusation of sexual misconduct was made against Judge Brett Kavanaugh by a woman who went to Yale with him, Deborah Ramirez. The New Yorker’s Ronan Farrow and Jane Mayer were the one to break the story and bring Deborah Ramirez to the attention of the American public. A third accusation of sexual misconduct has now been put on the table by Michael Avenatti. The same Michael Avenatti who is Porn star Stormy Daniel’s high profile lawyer. Sunday night at 7:33 p.m. Michael Avenatti tweeted “I represent a woman with credible information regarding Judge Kavanaugh and Mark Judge. We will be demanding the opportunity to present testimony to the committee and will likewise be demanding that Judge and others be subpoenaed to testify. The nomination must be withdrawn.”
Nearly two hours after he released his first tweet Michael Avenatti sent out a second tweet that allowed for Americans to see a copy of an email that he sent to Mike Davis, chief counsel for nominations for the Senate Judiciary Committee. In the email that he sent to Mike Davis, Michael Avenatti said, “We are aware of significant evidence of multiple house parties in the Washington D.C. area during the early 1980s during which Brett Kavanaugh, Mark Judge and others would participate in the targeting of women with alcohol/drugs in order to allow a ‘train’ of men to gangrape them.” According to the word of Avenatti, he also has several witnesses who are willing to back these facts with statements of their own.
This would make the third sexual misconduct that has been made against President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh, and the second one to be made in less than twenty four hours. As many American’s already know the first one to come out against Judge Brett Kavanaugh was from his high school days when Christine Blasey Ford acknowledged that she was the writer of a letter that Senator Diane Feinstein had brought to the attention of Americans across the country just last week. Michael Avenatti was not the attorney that Deborah Ramirez spent six days talking to before she made her accusation Sunday night.
Despite more sexual misconduct accusations coming out against him Judge Brett Kavanaugh has continued to adamantly defend himself and proclaim his innocence with a statement of his own when he said, “This is a smear, plain and simple. I look forward to testifying on Thursday about the truth, and defending my good name – and the reputation for character and integrity I have spent a lifetime building – against these last minute accusations.”
