Islam, Islam, Islam.
Let’s take a trip down memory lane, shall we?
I’ve spent hours upon hours of my life this year learning about Islam and writing about Islam – to the tune of 10,000 words on HalseyNews.com alone.
In February, I wrote about Islam in Canada. In March, I wrote about why Muhammad is the only Muslim that matters and why I assume Islam until proven otherwise. In April, I wrote about why the idea that there is no compulsion in the religion of Islam is bullsh*t. In May, I wrote about why the real Muslims are the terrorists. In June, I wrote about why it’s so dangerous to speak about Islam and about why I don’t believe reform is possible. Finally, in September, I wrote about how stupid it looks when Westerners celebrate Islamic holidays.
This is not including hours of Right Millennial episodes talking about Islam. This is not including Periscopes about Islam. This is not including hundred if not thousands of tweets on the subject. This is not including the hours of video and thousands of words of articles that I’ve linked to (including here at Halsey News) and urged people to watch and to read.
While I’ve been pouring my blood, sweat, tears, and sanity into educating myself about Islam and informing others about what I’ve learned, it’s been business as usual for the Religion of Pieces!
We’ve also passed the 16th anniversary of 9/11.
The Religion of Peace keeps a detailed list of terrorism and Islamically-motivated attacks (i.e, they include a mall number of honor killings / Sharia executions in their numbers. You can read about their methodology here).
In 2017 alone, Islamic terror has claimed the lives of over 10,000 people, in 53 countries, in 1,500 terrorist incidents. (If it’s any consolation, last year was worse so far. Over 20,000 people died.)
Today, in the early hours of the morning, there was another major terorr attack at Parson’s Green station in London, with 19 injured enough to have been taken to the hospital.
What a surprise! How could this have been prevented! It’s not like ISIS literally put out f*cking posters saying that they were going to be targeting trains.
I’ve been writing less about Islam in the past couple of months. Not because I’ve lost interest or stopped learning – far from it – but because I’ve simply gotten tired of feeling like a broken record. It’s exhausting. It’s demotivating. It’s deeply frustrating.
How many times can me (and thousands of others) say that the sky is blue before the world wakes up and thinks, oh, damn, the sky might actually be blue!
Could it really be that people actually believe that Islam is peaceful? Do people really see a report of a bombing and think “well, maybe it was a white supremacist this time”?
I call bullshit. The most fervent leftist in America saw the news this morning and their gut said “Islam”. I don’t care what they said on Twitter.
I tend to dislike this idea that the public are a bunch of dumb sheep. In the the case of Islam, I don’t think that most of them are. I think the vast majority know that there is Something Wrong With Islam. Maybe they don’t understand the nuances of the problem, maybe they don’t know the Quran from the Sunna, but they can see that one plus one equals two, and has done so for a very long time.
They’re not stupid. They’re scared.
Saying Islam is bad shatters the mirror. It changes how we view religion. It changes how we view foreign policy. It changes how we view tolerance. It changes everything.
I’m sorry that this is such a meandering, inconclusive article. I wish I knew what to say. I’ve said so much. I have a couple of ideas for more “here is why Islam is bad in ___ way” articles, but other than that… what else is a normal person like me to do?!
What more can I say about Islam? What more can far more important and known people than me say? Douglas Murray? Robert Spencer? Bill Warner? Tommy Robinson?
Like most people, I have a secret enjoyment of saying “I told you so!” In this case, I’ll make an exception. I don’t want to shout “I told you so!” from atop a pile of dead bodies.
It’s time to f*cking listen. It’s time to admit what you know just as well as I do.Islam. Is. Bad.
