Obama’s Chicago

The Mid-West or The Middle East

The United States of America has been involved in war and conflict in the Middle East for decades. In the last 15 years, the heat was turned up when the U.S. invaded Iraq as a response to the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a thwarted attempt that ended in United flight 93 crashing in a field in Pennsylvania.

Iraq spread to Afghanistan which leaked into Pakistan, Libya and Syria. We have thousands of U.S. troops currently deployed in hostile environments and special op forces who have been on numerous classified missions.

Since President Obama took office in 2009, FBI crime data confirms there have been over 3,800 people killed. That’s a staggering number of deaths in combat — wait, what? Oh, those aren’t combat fatalities? That’s how many men, women and children have been murdered in the streets of Chicago — Obama’s Chicago — between 2009 – 2016.

According to the Department of Defense, the number of U. S. soldiers killed in combat in Afghanistan in that same period of time is  — 858. The entire number of Iraq War casualties is 4,491.

The number of people killed in Chicago during that time is 700 less than the number of soldiers killed during the entire Iraq War.

Radical Islamist Terrorists are now considered one of the top threats to the U.S. with homegrown terrorists and self radicalized individuals who want to wage war against U. S. citizens. Yet, according to FBI terror statistics, the number of deaths attributed to Islamic terrorism in the U.S. since 2009 is less than 200. That’s still 200 too many but let that sink in.

So much attention and news coverage is spent covering Islamic terrorism in the U.S. Was the attack ISIS inspired? Did he or she yell Allah Ahkbar? Did he travel to the Middle East to be radicalized?

There have been 19 times more murders in Chicago than all the terrorist related deaths in the U.S. since President Obama took office.

People place blame on Obama’s decision to ignore military strategists and exit Iraq too soon. Many argue his decision led to the rise of ISIS. But where’s the blame for his decision to ignore the murders of African-Americans in his own home town?

Forget Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, North Korea, Russia and Iran — the war is in our own backyard. Obama’s backyard.

Where is Rahm Emanuel? Chicago’s Mayor, not the brother that Entourage’s Ari Gold is based on or the other brother that helped orchestrate Obamacare. Where’s the Mayor of Chicago who was President Obama’s Chief-of-Staff?

“To all those who are, after Tuesday’s election, very nervous and filled with anxiety … you are safe in Chicago, you are secure in Chicago and you are supported in Chicago,” said Mayor Emanuel at a news conference announcing the expansion of mental health services for people anxious over the 2016 election results.

You read that right. Chicago is spending tax money on health services to assist people who are anxious over the presidential results. You can’t make that stuff up.

Emanuel is also one of the most outspoken advocates for sanctuary cities and boasts about Chicago’s commitment to illegal immigrants.

“Chicago has in the past been a sanctuary city. … It always will be a sanctuary city,” said the Mayor.

Instead of standing on a soap box and using millions in tax payer dollars to defend his sanctuary city, why doesn’t Mayor Emanuel spend the resources to protect the African-American community? Why doesn’t he increase patrols or implement an aggressive stop and frisk policy?

Where is the sanctuary for the inner-city kids dodging bullets daily in Chicago?

I’m not even going to get into the fact that Chicago has the stiffest gun control laws on the books. It’s too obvious and easy. The MSM never acknowledges that fact because it goes against their narrative that guns are bad — not the people who shoot them.

Former President Obama signed a $65 million dollar book deal and has accepted $800,000 to give two speeches to Wall Street bankers — those damn one-percenters. I’m sure the community organizer will donate most of his proceeds back into the inner-city he ignored for 8 years, right? It’s funny how Democrats want to share the wealth when it’s your money but remain protective of their own cash. See Kerry, Pelosi and the Clinton Cartel.

Where’s Black Lives Matter? Where are the African-American leaders demanding action? Where are the MSM journalists blasting Emanuel and Obama? Keep looking while you hear the crickets.

The Obama Foundation is actively planning to build his presidential library in the heart of the violent gangland  — Jackson Park. To be fair, he could have constructed it in the more affluent areas such as Lincoln Park or Millennium Park. So that’s something, right?

Call me crazy but I bet the residents in the surrounding areas of Jackson Park would prefer job opportunities, investment in black-owned businesses and a much bigger police presence. You know, the bullet points President Trump outlined in his commitment to the inner cities. But hey, I’m sure a monument of Obama’s legacy means a lot to them.

At the library unveiling, Obama said, “If you ask a lot of people outside of Chicago, about Chicago, what’s the first thing they talk about? They talk about the violence.”

When roughly 3,600 more citizens in Chicago have been murdered than the entire number of people killed by terrorists in the United States — that might be what comes to mind.

I wonder if there will be a wing in his presidential library dedicated to the thousands of African-Americans murdered in his own city? Who knows? But one thing is for sure — I bet the library will feature transgender bathrooms.
